Despu\u00e9s de haber trabajado durante mucho tiempo como crimin\u00f3loga para la Administraci\u00f3n Penitenciaria italiana y para el Tribunal de Vigilancia de Mil\u00e1n, se ha dedicado a la mediaci\u00f3n social y penal, antes en Italia y despu\u00e9s en Espa\u00f1a. Ha colaborado como docente en universidades de diferentes pa\u00edses y es autora de publicaciones cient\u00edficas sobre mediaci\u00f3n social y penal.
